Borderlands 4 has been one of the big surprises of recent months. The fourth game in this saga will arrive in 2025 with more madness, more weapons and more action than ever. At the moment we only have a first cinematic trailer and we haven’t seen any gameplay yet, but the company is starting to release small tidbits about what we can expect.

A good example are the latest statements from Randy Pitchford, founder and CEO of the company, who dropped the possibility that this fourth game will not have loading screens.

Planets without loading times?

It was on the social network Twitter that Pitchford responded to a fan of the franchise on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of the saga. The most curious thing about his intervention is undoubtedly the continued use of the term “Seamless”, used for refer to the loading speed of the latest generation SSDs. Something that raised a lot of expectations because was quickly interpreted as a hint that Borderlands 4 won’t have a loading screen.

Yes indeed, Pitchford quickly said he would clarify his comments, but, so far, has not done so.Many of us are wondering if so many allusions are actually due to the lack of loading screens in the new installment.

Borderlands 4 will arrive at some point to be determined in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PC and PS5.
