Boxing game reaches 1 million sales

Boxing, game, million, reaches, sales

With the boxing game Undisputed, the indie studio Steel City Interactive has already reached 1 million games sold.

Ash Habib, CEO of indie studio Steel City Interactive, revealed in an interview that Undisputed has already sold more than a million units. The boxing game was released on October 11th for consoles and PC.

Speaking about the successful launch, Habib said: “There hasn’t been a boxing game for 12 to 13 years. The way we did early access and built our community, and the numbers we saw… I was hoping for a pretty good start.”

“But this is my very first time. I don’t have any benchmarks to compare it to. I could act like a spoiled child and say, ‘A million is a million, what does that even mean?’ But in reality, I know it’s a pretty incredible achievement for the first title from an indie studio. And we exceeded the publisher’s forecasts.”
