Recently we have received rumors regarding Call of Duty 2024specifying that its staging would take place in the 90s, during the Gulf War, and that its title would be “Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War“. However, without even having confirmed it 100%, the well-known and reliable insider Tom Henderson ensures that he Cod of 2025 would be a direct sequel Black Ops 2, the acclaimed 2012 installment.
This sequel would take place in 2030, only 5 years after the events of Black Ops 2. Its code name is Saturn (not the Sega console), and apparently, will contain both brand new maps (this according to another source) like some remastered of the 2012 title. Basically, it would be something similar to what happened this year with Modern Warfare III.
In addition, Cod 2025 would have an improved movement system, as well as a round/wave based mode and the return of Gunfight (this 2vs2 players mode seen for the first time in Modern Warfare 2019) and the Pick 10 system for multiplayer classes, which limits the maximum number of items we can equip in a class to 10. Of course, that said, we at Xbox Area couldn’t be more excited to enjoy this upcoming installment.
I’ve been playing video games for as long as I can remember, so it’s safe to say I enjoy talking about them a bit.
