During beta, signature experience black Ops combat with standard 6v6 modes, 12v12 Combined Arms, and a new 40-player mode, Fireteam: Dirty Bomb. Beta will include a selection of multiplayer game maps set in different parts of the world during the Cold War.
Players can upgrade and rank themselves in a Beta-based rating system where loading items, including new weapons, Field Upgrades, and Scorestreaks can be unlocked by leading XP.

Playtime: Crossplay Beta Weekend
Crossplay Beta Weekend is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. PDT Thursday, October 15 to 10 p.m.
Xbox Early Access: Those who previously ordered the game in terms of Xbox One, Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S game can start playing Beta on Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16. Xbox Live Gold is required for players Xbox One.
Xbox Open Beta: Every weekend, from Saturday, October 17 to Monday, October 19, is available to Xbox players regardless of the previous order. Now, everyone in Call of Duty the community can jump and play together.
What’s inside Beta
The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Beta will include a combination of maps, routes, and playlists. Like the previous Betas, the Black Ops Cold War Beta will also include a continuation program where players can get XP to unlock new content.

Get the SMG Weapon 10 level level plan
Players reaching Level 10 within Beta will receive an SMG Weapon Blueprint at the launch of Black Ops Cold War.
Weapon Blueprint is a family of weapons within the game, complete with its unique name and makeup variations. Weapon designs may also come pre-attached to the attachment, allowing you to use it on that weapon without having to adjust the settings to unlock the physical attachment. This attachment can be changed to allow other attachments obtained by standard weapon measurement.
Access Beta & Pre-load information
Digital pre-order customers will be entitled to early access (Thursday and Friday) through their game account. All other players can still access the open Beta section (Saturday to Monday) for free.
Search Beta in the Xbox Store and follow the instructions you download. Pre-Beta uploads begin on October 13 at 8 a.m. PDT for customers of the previous digital order and will open Beta which will be played on October 15 at 10 a.m. on PDT. Beta will be available for free download to all other players from October 17 at 10 a.m. via PDT.
