Capcom Fighting Collection launched back in June and brought 10 classic fighting game titles into the modern age. We’ve heard your feedback on the collection and are releasing an update with a number of changes Capcom Fighting Collection!
As a short summary, Capcom Fighting Collection contains all five games in the Darkstalker Series, Red earth, cyberbots, Superpuzzle Fighter II Turbo, Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Editionand Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix. Some of the main features at launch were the ability to play all games online, practice mode for nine of the games, the ability to quick save, display filters, an extensive museum with over 500 pieces of art, and much more.
Now that we’re all up to speed, let’s go through some of the highlights of this update that the trailer above showed.
Color blind accessibility option (Superpuzzle Fighter II Turbo)
Based on community feedback, there are now new gem options you can select to make it easier to see what gems are on screen. We hope this new accessibility option can help more people play Superpuzzle Fighter II Turbo.
Visible hitboxes
Players who want a deeper understanding of these classic fighting games can use this feature to train more precisely. (Note: This feature is not available for Superpuzzle Fighter II Turbo.)
New smooth filter
A new filter is added that smoothes the pixels and results in a more modern look for each of the games in the collection. Check it out when the update comes out!
Dark Force in training mode (Vampire Savior: The Vampire Lord, vampire savior 2, vampire hunter 2)
Dark Force is a mechanic in the Darkstalker Games that emphasize the uniqueness of each character. Examples are Morrigan’s Darkness Illusion or Felicia’s Kitty Helper. With this update, players can now access Dark Force in Training Mode with no time limits.
Online opponent latency now visible
Looking for the perfect match with the best connection? You can now view a potential opponent’s latency to see if the match is going smoothly.
Input delay setting for online playback
To further improve the quality of your games, there is now a setting to adjust input lag before a game starts.
Here are a few patch notes for this update that will improve your overall experience Capcom Fighting Collectionbe it through more game options, accessibility or quality of life improvements.
- Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix – In the training mode you can choose the gem levels
- Red earth – Can now select bonus levels
- Red earth – Additional training mode options for player level
- Ability to cancel when players are waiting to be matched
- Players who choose not to rematch will be canceled immediately
- Improved clarity in the light sensitivity options
- Matchmaking parameters will be adjusted. Settings are now more flexible and matchmaking is easier
- The number of rematches can now reach 10
- Players can shuffle images in the museum
- Various text and graphic updates
