We finally know the release date of FAR : Changing tides… Published by Frontier Developments, this exotic game is coming to Xbox One on March 1st ! and full of happiness will integrate Game Pass the same day! The latest trailer is available below.
I admit that I have a soft spot for the first part, which was released on One in April 2019. FAR: Lonely Sails offered you to lead a small character piloting a large machine equipped with a sailboat. You had to power the engine with batteries found here and there, put out fires and generally get around in a fascinating world. As much as the first one made you want to visit deserts and arid places, its sequel will make you want to sail the oceans! This series is particularly distinguished by its gameplay. Everything reacts to the finger and the eye. Hence a pleasant feeling of mastery and, above all, enjoyment of the game itself. The successful graphics and the artistic conception finally drive the point home. A success that is all the more amazing because it is basically the result of one man, Don Schmocker. This University of Zurich student started developing the first part in 2015 before being joined by friends in 2017 to complete the project and inaugurate his Studio Okomotive.
FAR : Changing tides promises to be more ambitious than its predecessor. By improving on what you’ve learned while maintaining your strengths… I can’t wait!
