Former developer talks about internal process
Today it is important to echo recent statements of a former promoter of 343 Industries, and in charge of sandbox art and design, in which he ensures that the development process is and has been problematic:
The story (campaign) is a big improvement, and the gameplay is much richer and more varied, although the development cycle is too long. Don’t expect Halo Infinite to be a historic masterpiece.
The employee also says that a lot of new ideas had to be discarded, both in the campaign and in multiplayer. Apparently, the great ambition of the study led them to want to develop the new SlipSpace engine. This resulted in the development of the game and a new engine at the same time, which caused some issues and delays.
Halo Infinite release date
If there’s one thing we know almost for sure, it’s the Halo Infinite launch window. After the chaos of 343 Industries and the delay of last year, it can almost certainly be said that the new installment in Master Chief’s story will arrive in November 2021, the date that coincides with the 20th anniversary of the first game in the series: Halo Combat.
