Everything you love about the NFL is injected into every mode. Next Gen Stats Star-Driven AI merges with Gameday Atmosphere, supported by real data and was developed to bring real tendencies and behaviors into the Madden Gridiron, both for individual AI players and for AI teams. The Madden experience will evolve as the season progresses based on both gameplay and next-gen stats from real NFL games. Then feel a whole new atmosphere from the seats to the sidelines with Gameday Atmosphere. Once triggered, Home Field Advantage M-Factors can swing the swing of any game in either direction at any NFL stadium.
We’re also bringing more to the exciting and ever-changing face of the franchise. Chase your NFL dream. In the new Road to the Draft storyline, you’re a generational prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft. Career mode begins with the chance to train with and compete against some of the NFL’s best players at Nike headquarters. On the go, you’ll have the opportunity to hone your draftstock through the college football playoff, NFL team interviews, and private workouts with select teams. You will learn early on that managing your time and commitments is a huge part of glory. New in this year Madden NFL 22 are classes that define how you play each position on the field. This year there are four positions to choose from; QB, WR, HB and, for the first time in Face of the Franchise, a defensive position – linebacker. Each position has several classes to choose from, reflecting a particular style of play on the field. Advance, earn # 1 overall, and set the tone for your career. With Unified Progress, your avatar and all of your progress, rewards, and equipment will be shared between Face of the Franchise and The Yard.
Speaking of The Yard, this popular new mode was made for Madden NFL 22. Become the greatest in the world as you play through a redesigned campaign with stunning locations around the world. Search for events in the new live events hub. Then do all of this with the hottest gear in the game. All of your progress is fully integrated into the updated avatar and unified progress system. Superstar KO is back too, introducing NFL teams and squads for the first time. Play fast-paced games in this co-op eliminator mode with dynamic rules, unique stadiums and icons of football culture.
The hugely popular Ultimate Team is back and for the first time ever, you can make mid-term adjustments to Superstar X-Factors to counter your opponent’s strategies during MUT matches. New strategy items also simplify the chemistry system so you can boost individual players or groups of players within your roster. Dynamic Gameday also integrates Next Gen Stats with Ultimate Team to keep track of stats for your player items, including historical stats of everyone who owned the item before you.
