Long-awaited Chivalry 2 cross-play closed beta opens gates to the ultimate medieval battlefield today
Developer Torn Banner Studios, publisher Tripwire Presents and global retail publishing partner Deep Silver open the gates to the Chivalry 2 cross-play closed beta today.
Starting today, Friday, April 23rd to Monday, April 26th, players will have the opportunity to experience the ultimate medieval battlefield for the first time, including cross-play support for PC, the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, the Xbox One Device family as well as for the Xbox X | S console systems
Pre-orders for the Chivalry 2: Day One Edition for PC & console are already possible at participating retailers. The Chivalry 2: Day One Edition for PC & consoles offers all buyers exclusive access to the “Royal Two-Handed” weapon skin.

Chivalry 2 can also be pre-ordered digitally. Digital pre-orders offer pre-order bonuses across all available editions. Those who pre-order the digital versions of Chivalry 2 will have access to the closed beta that starts today.

The crossplay closed beta gives fans the chance to experience the ultimate medieval battlefield before the global multiplatform launch on June 8th.
What players can expect from the upcoming Chivalry 2 closed beta event:
- New map – The Siege of Rudhelm: In the first hands-on of Chivalry 2 since PAX East 2020, players experience the return of the fan-favorite Team Objective mode and can attack or defend teams
- Numerous Modes Available: In addition to Team Objective mode, closed beta participants can test their skills in a variety of other modes, including Team Deathmatch and Free-for-All.
