Balarok’s Revenge: The Spirits of the Umbrella is now live on Xbox One!
Greetings to all of our wizards, magicians and magical people from Ignus, the day has finally come. The next epic chapter in Citadel’s Scrolls is now live – but wait! That’s not all. The highly anticipated Barklock Rewards and Quality of Life Update have also been added. There is a lot to discover, don’t keep the secrets waiting!
New world: umbrella
In the midst of the shadows, ominous magic slowly invades Ignus. Not much is known, but reports have been circulated and it appears that the cultists have done no good. How do you get into this new world? Follow the trail of dark magic to HealthClyffe, where you can access a portal to this new world. But a fair warning to all magical users to err on the side of caution, as this realm is riddled with dark arts, only the strongest will hold out.
All new summoning essence
We asked our community to vote on which Essence they would like to see in Citadel, and we’re excited to announce that Summoning Essence is now ready to be mastered! Sharpen your wands and pull out your spell books to learn how to master the art of conjuring.
Brand new spells:
- Summon Aggressively: Summons a mystical ally based on the caster’s strength
- Summon Mount: Summons a mystical wheeled creature based on the caster’s strength
- Summon followers: Immediately summons all tamed creatures to follow the caster’s location
- Summon a party: Immediately summons all players in the caster’s party to the caster’s location
- Revive: Throw on a fresh corpse to breathe life back into the deceased creature
- Summon Tower: Summon a tower at the point of impact to automatically fight nearby enemies
We’ve listened to the community and, in addition to the new Summoning Essence, we’ve created a new Mastery Level Creature Storage where you can accommodate more taming. Undiscovered creatures are scattered throughout Umbrus. You can be the first to meet them and tame yourself a new companion.
The grotto of evil
It’s no surprise that a great evil is afoot in Umbrus, and with that comes the newest dungeon: The Grotto of Evil. Only the strongest magicians and wizards can take on these ferocious creatures that lurk deep within. Remember to traverse with caution as these battles will not be easy. However, those who make it will be rewarded with glorious riches.

This update includes a number of new features that new and seasoned assistants will appreciate!

We also introduced some new Xbox servers that have throne range limitations to make raiding more balanced. These new servers can be found in both PVP and PVE. If you want to play on a server that is less likely to have a build limit, check out these new servers that end in (100mThroneRange).
