Indie game developer and publisher BatFields reveals first details about its upcoming action-packed MMA game City Of Ashes.
It is a post-apocalyptic isometric 3rd person combat game that takes place in the streets and destroyed buildings of a decaying city.
The development team’s references include the Dead Effect series with more than 30 million downloads.
The official release of City of Ashes is scheduled for early 2025. The game will be released for PlayStation, Xbox, PC via Steam, as well as iOS and Android compatible devices.
City of Ashes focuses on the main characters Chris and his daughter Charlotte. After an apocalyptic pandemic and the collapse of the government, a former MMA fighter tries to survive with his daughter, but he is ambushed and his daughter is kidnapped.
He manages to escape the cannibalistic gang and searches for his daughter in the destroyed city, where he has to deal with gangs that act with brutal ruthlessness.
His search through the urban wasteland leads him to the arena of the city’s largest gang, where his daughter is being held captive. This is where you come in! You must face your enemies head-on and fight through the remains of civilization to save your daughter, against insane, cannibalistic enemies.
City Of Ashes features intense close-quarters combat with an emphasis on hand-to-hand combat and occasional use of improvised weapons as you make your way through the ruins of the city.
Your extensive arsenal of moves and special attacks is unlocked through a simple RPG system, expanded by loot found while exploring or by taking out enemies.
