2K and Firaxis Games officially announced today that Civilization VII by Sid Meiera revolutionary new chapter in the epic strategy video game franchise, will be released in 2025 in PlayStation®5 (PS5®), PlayStation®4 (PS4®), Xbox Series X|SXbox One, Nintendo™ Switch and PC, Mac and Linux via Steam.
Civilization VII, the seventh title in the franchise, is a 4X strategy game developed by the legendary team at Firaxis Games. Players establish their civilization, build cities and architectural wonders to expand their territory, conquer or cooperate with rival civilizations in search of prosperity, and explore the reaches of the unknown world.
