Here’s some news that will likely please a large number of fans… During an interview with Kinda Funny Xcast, Joseph Staten said, the creative manager of Halo infinityhinted that classic cards could join the game! When asked “Why didn’t 343 Industries integrate the maps from the old episodes?” Staten replied, “That’s a good idea”.
“There are a lot of great cards. I think it would be great to play on these maps, don’t you think? I’ll write it in my to-do book!”
Put like th is, one could almost think of irony, but the tone given suggests that the idea is underway
. Halo infinity started with an almost unanimous positive response. But like any good game, the content quickly proved limited. Dissatisfaction is rising, despite the arrival of two new maps with Season 2, available now. So much so that the MCC Collection
recently passed to Steam in the number of concurrent players. Integrating these classic cards would bring people back and expand offerings. But the gameplay is different in infinity, the defector will surely take some time, not to mention the graphics upgrade.
