Xbox Cloud Gaming will soon support mouse and keyboard, for example to be able to play the Microsoft Flight Simulator.
In a new developer Q&A video, Microsoft Flight Simulator head Jorg Neumann said that mouse and keyboard control support for Xbox cloud gaming is currently in development.
“The next step for us is mouse and keyboard,” he said. “This is platform-level support, so it has nothing to do with us. Apparently the mouse and keyboard work for our simulation.”
“So the platform team is working on that. I know I can’t give a date because it’s the platform team. I don’t know the dates but it will come and we’re also talking about how the touch controls can work.”
Xbox Cloud Gaming could soon shine with mouse & keyboard support and the Microsoft Flight Simulator could even be playable with touch controls in the future.
