Treyarch delayed Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update by a week
Activision Yes Treyarch they have planned a major free content update for Call of Duty: Cold War Black Ops; a massive arrival of maps and weapons with its first season. The date chosen was December 10, but they finally decided to delay it for a week.
According to official blog In the game, it’s the most free content ever, with full integration of Operators, Weapons, Player Progress, and Battle Pass rewards. A new map is prepared for Warzone at launch, with 30 new weapons base from the Cold War and a new experience in Gulag.
The Cold War multiplayer will receive new maps (4 in total), the launch of which we have already commented on in the game review, new 6v6 modes, Gunfight 2VS2 mode and a massive new map. As a surprise, the Black Ops II map set in the Hollywood Hills and one of the community favorites returns: Raid.
Plus, new free weapons, new zombie modes, seasonal challenges, and a progression system called Prestige, which will have 1,000 levels per season. For this amount of content, the Treyarch team took a few days to come up with this number of additions.
As a reward for the wait, to help us level up, there is double the experience and weapon points from Saturday, December 12 at 7:00 p.m. Spanish time (6:00 p.m. in the Canary Islands and 12:00 p.m. in Mexico) until launch of the update.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available for Xbox one, Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 4 | 5 and PC. The first season will finally arrive December 16 free for all platforms.
