Horror royalty Barbara Crampton is working on The Texas Chain Saw Massacre with Gun Interactive.
Gun Interactive has teamed up with horror legend Barbara Crampton. With titles like Re-Animator, You’re Next and Suitable Flesh, Barbara Crampton has made a name for herself as one of the horror genre’s best leading actresses and as a producer.
Wes Keltner, CEO and President, Gun Interactive: “It was a great pleasure working with Barbara. I mean, come on, that’s Barbara Crampton! She is an icon in the horror industry! She is friendly, passionate about her work and a true creative. It’s not easy to bring a character to life in a video game. The vocal performance required to make the pixels feel human is difficult. Barbara barely broke a sweat. I look forward to bringing her character into the world of Texas Chain Saw Massacre. You will experience something special!”
Crampton will not only play the role of a victim in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, but also the character Virginia will portray.
Barbara Crampton said: “Gunnar Hansen was my friend, so it was a great experience to continue the wonderful legacy of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre with my involvement in this game. Working with the folks at GUN on my new DLC character was a remarkable experience! They are among the best in the industry. I’m so proud of what they’ve created and I’m excited for everyone to see the new stuff!”
While this is still in development, more news will soon be revealed about Barbara Crampton’s character, Virginia, in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
