ANNO 1800 reaches over 2.5 million players. The title will be released on March 16th on next-gen consoles.
Ubisoft today announced that for the first time in 25 years, a main series Anno game is coming to consoles.
With more than 2.5 million players, Anno 1800 is the brand’s best-selling game and will be released on March 16th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Anno 1800 is a strategy game that allows players to put their leadership skills to the test: build gigantic metropolises, build efficient and profitable logistics networks, colonize an exotic new continent, undertake expeditions all over the world and meet your opponents diplomatically, commercially or be militarily dominated.
Developed by Ubisoft Mainz, the same studio responsible for the original PC version of the game, the Anno 1800 Console Edition offers players the full Anno experience with a completely redesigned user interface and controls powered by the next generation of consoles will.

Starting today, the Anno 1800 Console Edition can be pre-ordered. Two versions are available – default and deluxe:
- The standard version includes the base game and major game updates.
- The deluxe version includes the base game, major game updates, and three cosmetic packs: the Pedestrian Zone, the Faire Pack, and Busy Cities.
Early buyers who pre-order the game will enjoy the Console Imperial and Founder’s Packs, which include additional cosmetic bonuses as well as the digital artbook and soundtrack. In addition, all cosmetic DLCs are also available for purchase.
