MechWarrior 5: Clans is coming to Xbox Series X|S next week and will be playable on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate that day.
MechWarrior 5: Clans, a new narrative spin-off in the MechWarrior franchise, will be released October 17th at 2:00 a.m. for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for $49.99. The game will also be available Day One with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Developer Piranha Games has also released a nearly three-minute, brand new gameplay video that shows exciting moments from Smuggler’s Den, a mission within the cinematic story of MechWarrior 5: Clans.
The latest video takes a look at Smuggler’s Den and shows off the hard-hitting action the MechWarrior series is known for: flying missiles, lasers and particle projector cannons.
In MechWarrior 5: Clans, battles drive a rich, overarching story in a campaign that can be played solo or in five-player co-op.
MechWarrior 5: Clans is Piranha Games’ third game in the MechWarrior franchise, following 2013’s MMO MechWarrior Online and 2019’s single-player/co-op sandbox game MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries.
In contrast, MechWarrior 5: Clans offers fans a story-rich, linear single-player/co-op action game for the first time in decades – a complete departure from previous MechWarrior titles and solidifying Piranha Games as one of the most dynamic studios in the industry creates entirely new gameplay genres and game designs with each new MechWarrior release.
Piranha Games has also announced the details of the Digital Collectors Edition of MechWarrior 5: Clans, available for $79.99:
- A copy of MechWarrior 5: Clans
- Exclusive in-game content:
- Platinum Me pattern
