Lord of the Rings fans can start celebrating. Tolkien’s most iconic stories will arrive in an MMO for consoles and PC.
After a long wait, the works of JRR Tolkien will have its own MMO which will come to both PC and consoles in the not so distant future. The new title of Lord of the Rings is currently in development by Amazon Games Orange
Amazon Games reached an agreement with Middle-earth Enterprises to be able to make the game, something that goes a bit on par with what Amazon had already done with its “The Rings of Power” series

In the MMO, fans of the franchise will be able to enjoy stories from The Lord of the Rings: The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King. But it is far from being the only game in this universe to arrive soon, since we remember that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum from Daedalic Entertainment will be with us in May this year.
On the other hand, EA is working on The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth while Private Division is doing the same with an IP title that still has no name, although if it was a RTS, I’m sure no one I would know, I would complain in the least.
