Call of Duty Warzone 2 continued the series of server issues that the first installment had. Ever since the release of Warzone 2, Infinity Ward has been unable to keep the game stable with constant updates, so much so that even today the game has quite a few performance issues.
Now, and after the third season update, the issues from before have gotten worse and finally the developers have spoken about it. According DexertoAfter constant complaints from the community about Warzone 2 issues, Infinity Ward spoke about it for the first time and they comment that they have already started to find a solution to these issues.
We are investigating reports of server-related gameplay issues and are actively working to resolve them.
Warone 2 continues with issues they promised to fix
In theory, the solution to the problems of the first Call of Duty Warzone was to move the battle royale to a whole new one. This was, according to the developers, the perfect solution, as the massive number of players the last installment had was already a problem to be able to move forward, so starting over with sane code was ideal. However, this has never been seen in reality, because since the release of Warzone 2, technical and server problems have continued to appear.
It is clear that this opus did not have the impact expected by the players, the strategy of silence is therefore no longer effective. The community is tired and they are already commenting that Ubisoft’s new shooter, XDefiant seems like a viable alternative to the problems that Call of Duty has given.
On the other hand, although it is not yet official, it is expected that with the purchase of Activision by Microsoft, these problems and the neglect of a company that has found a gold mine s stop. Annual Call of Duty installments would stop and the quality of games would be paramount.
