The Cris Tales Character Trailer features the dynamic, time-jumping force that players will encounter this July.
Modus Games showed a brand new trailer for Cris Tales on the Future Games Show, in which the allies of protagonist Crisbell were introduced.
The video introduces us to Crisbell, a newly awakened time mage who is just beginning to learn how to use her powers. Other characters who share the limelight with her include her companions Willhelm, the voice of reason in the group, Christopher, Zas, and JKR-721, a fistfighting robot. And of course Matias shouldn’t be missing, the wonderfully reliable, talking frog!
Also today, in a blog post from Modus Games, the large cast of speakers that will bring Crisbell’s journey to life was announced. Industry veteran Kira Buckland Crisbell lends her voice, among others. She previously set the leading actress 2B from Nier: Automata to music. Cristopher is voiced by the actor Zeno Robinson, best known for Goh in Pokémon Journeys: The Series.

Cris Tales is a JRPG where the past, present and future are brought together on one screen. Players can use Crisbell’s amazing ability to jump between time eras to both aid citizens in the Kingdoms of Crystallis and perform surprise attacks on enemies.
