Hyper Scape now has crossplay, starts with the Winter Fest and receives Team Deathmatch improvements.
Ubisoft announced today that Hyper Scape will also be available through the Epic Game Store starting Thursday, December 17th. In addition, players can look forward to the Hyper Scape Winter Fest and crossplay for consoles.
Along with these major updates, there have also been new improvements to the Team Deathmatch (Beta) mode recently added to Hyper Scape, as well as improvements to the battle system, Arcadia Free Mode, and Marketplace as part of the title update which was released on December 10th. Console crossplay
Console Crossplay is now available for Hyper Scape and enables matchmaking between PlayStation and Xbox players in all available modes of Hyper Scape, including Crown Rush and Team Deathmatch Battle Royale modes. This affects both current and next-gen consoles players. PC gamers can team up with console game friends in the same squad, in which case the entire squad will be placed in the PC matchmaking pool.
Winter festival
Winter is coming in Hyper Scape. Between December 15th and December 29th, players can discover a snow-covered neo-arcadia and brand new festive cosmetic items to celebrate the holidays.
Team Deathmatch (Beta)
After an initial release on November 18, the December 10th title update made improvements to the Team Deathmatch Beta:

Random map rotation: Random map rotation available for three Team Deathmatch maps (The Foundry, Hillside, Bus Depot)

New point cap: The kill cap for a match has been increased to 50 and the maximum match length has been extended to 12 minutes

Activated Challenges: Standard Challenges are now activated in Team Deathmatch
