If you haven’t played any of the Danganronpa games yet, here’s the catch.
In Danganronpa, you must trade high-speed deductives to unmask a killer. It all starts with Monokuma, a self-proclaimed principal, imprisoning extremely talented high schoolers in his academy. To escape, Monokuma forces students to play a killing game and identify the killer in twisted class processes. When a body is discovered, you will investigate, collect evidence, and question your classmates before the tumultuous spectacle of a class trial.
In the “psycho-cool” setting of Gifted Inmates Academy, a new cast of 16 characters find themselves kidnapped and imprisoned in a school. Inside, some will kill, some will die, and some will be punished. Investigate twisted murders and sentence your new friends to death.
You should also know that you don’t necessarily have to play the games in order. Each game starts in a new location with a new group of students. Of course, knowing about past events helps make the experience more fulfilling.
