Dark Alliance arrives on day one June 22nd via Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) with Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Windows PC, and smartphones and tablets. We’ll have more monsters to kill, dungeons to plunder, and challenges to face as the year progresses.
First, let’s discuss what’s coming with the June 22nd launch. We have three scheduled post-launch items planned for 2021 that will give players more of what they love.
Free DLC 1: Wraiths
Our first planned DLC is coming this summer (winter for our southern hemisphere friends) and it’s free for everyone. This includes a new three-level story mission in which you battle a faction of Wraiths who are trying to corrupt a forest spirit for their own benefit.
That’s not all. We expect this update to add split-screen game options for two players to PC and Xbox Series X | S.
Free DLC 2: Trolls
Our second planned DLC will be released this fall (spring in the southern hemisphere) and is also free for everyone. It will include a new story mission that will be told on three levels. Trolls have invaded Kelvin’s Cairn and it is up to you to exterminate them. This DLC also adds new challenge ratings to the game so you have to overcome higher expert difficulty.
Echos of the Blood War expansion
We’re ending the year with a major paid expansion Echoes of the blood war. This expansion adds a brand new magically playable character to the game – the perfect addition to the party! Along with the new character comes a new story with new missions and new monsters.
