Dave Bautista has announced that he would like Netflix to contact him for Marcus Fenix’s Gears of War role.
Netflix is currently producing an animated series and a movie set in the Gears of War universe. Netflix is working closely with The Coalition to ensure the best possible outcome for the millions of Gears fans around the world.
A collaboration that Dave Bautista would also like to have. In an interview with Variety, he revealed that he wants Marcus Fenix to play the film. When asked if Netflix should get in touch with Dave, the response came:
“I really hope they do,” he said. “It’s a role I’ve craved for years and I feel like I could bring a lot of heart and soul to Marcus Fenix. I really would. I think I would do justice to this role. I feel safe in it, so I’m hoping that the role will fall to me and one day we’ll have this conversation in a different way.”
So far, Netflix has not contacted Dave Bautista. Bautista actually made it clear on Instagram made and already preparing for the role.
