All you need is a level 15+ character to take part in our event version, which can be achieved in a flash (see what we did there?). Places inspired by flashpoints
Get ready to travel through a myriad of Flashpoint-inspired locations, starting with the new Flashpoint Gotham City open world area. Batman has agreed to save the world we know on one condition: help him keep his home safe. Get ready to dive from the rooftops and face various Gotham City gangs as well as the prehistoric Kryptonian Doomsday as you attempt to patrol these crime-ridden streets.
However, the attack is not just a ground attack. Heat Wave launches an airstrike with plans to crash the Hall of Doom in Flashpoint Gotham City. That means you have to team up with Flashpoint Batman and Cyborg at Queen’s Row Penitentiary [2-player duo] neutralize the threat.
Players can also explore new areas of Atlantis and Themyscira in the Royal War [4-player alert]. And after earning the trust of Flashpoint Batman, he shares his own plan to end the conflict: when the Atlanteans and Amazons have their own massive “super” weapons, just take out both assets and end the stalemate . It’s just crazy enough to try to work, but it goes against Professor Zoom’s masterful plan …
Finally, and without giving too much away, Flash and his allies need someone from the future who can use enough Speed Force to reverse the paradox. That means you can travel to Nightmare Central City [8-player raid] and fight alongside Flash and Kid Flash as you move through the Rogues Gallery super villains like Pied Piper and Captain Boomerang. Then go to the 31stst century [8-player raid] and confront Brainiac yourself!
New vicious rewards
If success prevails, there will be opportunities to receive new rewards, including a normal and improved version of the “Pyromaniac,” a heatwave-inspired gear suit, and the “Ultimate,” a Doomsday-inspired gear suit.
