The wait is coming to an end. Announced in 2014, the project for a sequel to Dead Island Looks like he came out of the back of the closet. At the end of Gamescom Opening Night Live, we were able to discover the first animated images of Dead Island 2, which will go on sale on February 3, 2023.
This sequel does not change from the previous episode: survive hordes of zombies using all our skills. The novelty here lies in the origin of our protagonist: he too was infected by the epidemic and will acquire special abilities, to the detriment of his own health. So, survival will be even more central in this episode.
To complete, Deep Silver and IGN have offered us a new video where they show a wide range of possibilities to eradicate zombies. It looks like we’ll have an arsenal that’s as bloody as it is fun.
Dead Island 2 is slated for release early next year on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.. It will also come to Playstation 5, Playstation 4, PC via Epic Games Store and Alexa Game Control.
