The Close combat it’s shown in the trailer and includes some gore-filled scenes. There are animations showing broken jaws and limbs dropping after hitting zombies. The dismemberment system is touted as the most advanced in the game. The trailer also continues to showcase the tongue-in-cheek humor the game offers with its story and NPCs. It’s clear that Dead Island 2 is not a serious survival gameAnd it’s a smart decision.
Dead Island 2 will offer three-player co-op and a solid RPG experience. The game promises maximum replayability with the option to choose between 6 characters, each with their own unique abilities and the ability to fully customize them as you progress through the game.
Dead Island 2 releases on April 28, 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and pc. It will arrive in Europe thanks to the publisher PLAION España.
