Zombie survival game Dead Island 2 celebrates the 10 million player milestone.
Dead Island 2, the wonderfully bloody first-person zombie action role-playing game, has reached a record ten million players. This milestone was reached on the same day that Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition was released.
By the way, all owners of the Gold Edition receive a free upgrade to the Ultimate Edition and thus access to all zombie slaughter content.
The Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition contains the base game, the two crazy story expansions HAUS and SoLA and a wealth of cosmetic items and powerful weapons:
- Golden Weapon Pack
- Memories of Banoi Pack
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Weapon Pack
- Pulp Weapons Pack
- Red’s Demise Katana
- All six premium Slayer skin packs

And for anyone who hasn’t tried Dead Island 2 yet, free trials will be available on the Xbox and PlayStation digital stores. This allows you to play a limited session – both single player and co-op – and you can of course take your game progress with you into the full version.
And don’t forget: the cooperative horde mode Neighborhood Watch is now available as a free update for all players. As members of the Bobcats, a trio of college survivors, players must defend their Venice Canals frat house against relentless waves of zombies using new abilities, weapons and, for the first time in the series, nasty traps.
Dead Island 2 is available for Xbox and PlayStation systems, as well as on Steam and Epic. Additionally, the game will be released for Mac in 2024.
