TEKKEN 8 is getting support from the Dead or Alive universe, Yohei Shimbori officially confirmed.
Fans of the series are eagerly awaiting TEKKEN 8 and surprisingly, an interesting detail comes to light shortly before its release next month. Via X/Twitter, Dead or Alive 6 director Yohei Shimbori confirmed that he is involved in the work on TEKKEN 8.
He said via his official profile that he didn’t actually want to say anything about it before the release of TEKKEN 8, but since the information has now leaked out elsewhere and he has received the green light from those in charge, he is now also speaking via his profile announced that he was working on TEKKEN 8.
Shimbori, who worked on Dead or Alive 5, also stated that he can’t go into detail at the moment, but hopes to one day talk about his work on TEKKEN 8. With the hope that the game will be enjoyed, he closes the topic for now.
TEKKEN 8 will be released on January 26, 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. Further details about the fighting game can be found in our TEKKEN 8 preview.
