In advance of the July 26 release of Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine, Deadpool himself has teamed up with Xbox to design a custom Xbox Wireless Controller that everyone will want to get their hands on. Designed by Deadpool, the controller is modeled after Deadpool’s much-talked-about, perfectly rounded butt and is available to one lucky fan who will have a chance to win one, along with other custom Xbox hardware, in a worldwide sweepstakes.
On July 22, the first 1,000 fans to purchase an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core from the Microsoft Store will receive an exclusive Cable Guys Deadpool Controller Holder by EXG Pro to “enhance” their gaming setup. Deadpool-themed controller holders are only available in North America and Canada and are available while supplies last.
The aptly named “Cheeky Controller” channels Deadpool’s steely butt in its firm (but surprisingly comfortable) grip. Designed by the Merc with a Mouth himself, it also comes dressed in the antihero’s instantly recognizable – and, we might add, incredibly flattering – red and black tactical suit. Starting today, fans aged 18 and over around the world can enter a prize draw by Follow Xbox on X and repost the official Xbox competition post.
Players could also win custom Xbox hardware, including a Deadpool-inspired Xbox Series X and a stand with foam versions of Deadpool’s trusty katanas, Bea and Arthur, as well as two Xbox Wireless Controllers. For more details, visit the Official competition terms and conditions.
