The developer of Valheim shows the new levels of difficulty in the video, including a hardcore mode.
In Valheim, players will be able to adjust the level of difficulty themselves in the future. Lead designer Jonathan Smårs now showed the possible settings in a video to customize the gaming experience.
As can be seen in the video below, there is a choice of presets such as Easy and Hard, but also a Hardcore mode where combat is more difficult and monsters attack your home more often.
In Hammer Mode, on the other hand, all buildings can be built for free. Monsters will not raid your home and will only attack if you provoke them.
On the immersive setting, you have to find your way around without a map, and the use of portals is also eliminated.
In addition to the default settings, sliders allow you to make further adjustments yourself.
The settings of the world can be changed at any time, as Smårs confirmed in another tweet when asked. Even on already existing worlds.
Even if the setting options shown are not final, Valheim players can look forward to new challenges in the near future.
You can play Valheim on Xbox consoles, as well as via PC and Xbox Game Pass.
