Far Cry 5 arrived in March 2018 on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 and very quickly became the best-selling game in the entire series with launch sales exceeding $300 million.
The future of the saga is plagued with rumours. Unofficially, we say that Ubisoft is working on two Far Cry titles, one that would be multiplayer-focused (known for now as Project Maverick) and one with the traditional single-player style that has marked the franchise. Both are said to arrive in 2025, so there’s still plenty of time for us to find out more.
