Little things might come up here and there, but overall CD Projekt RED is finished with Cyberpunk 2077.
CD Projekt RED is ready to leave Cyberpunk 2077 behind and focus on the successor.
After the single expansion Phantom Liberty and Update 2.0 were released, there were other smaller and larger patches. But the game is now finished. This is what Gabe Amatangelo, game director of both Cyberpunk 2077 and its successor Project Orion, said Game file
Amatangelo therefore said: “Yes. We’re done. “It’s possible that there will be a little something here and there, because sometimes when you try things out you discover something that doesn’t pose a big risk. Or it is easy to integrate. Or, you know, some developers have a certain range.”
“Then bring it to me. I then say, ‘Well, I trust you that it won’t affect your other work… So let’s try it.'”
Basically there will be no more updates. Unless a team member’s programming fingers are itching.
