IO Interactive wants to be known for more than just the Hitman series in the future.
IO Interactive is mainly known for the Hitman series and is currently focusing on the release of Hitman 3. But in the future the studio wants to attract attention and produce other games regardless of the success of Hitman 3.
In an interview with Game Informer, Hakan Abrak, CEO of IO Interactive, said they hope they can be known as more than just the “Hitman Developers”. He points out that the recently announced James Bond title, in which the developer will be involved, will hopefully be seen as the first step in a diverse and creative line of new IPs from the studio.
So in the future, the hope is that you won’t just be seen as the Hitman studio. The recently announced 007 James Bond game could certainly help.
