We summarize in a few paragraphs the five announcements we saw during the Devolver Digital conference
There are publishers going about their business, and Devolver Digital is one of them. For a few days we knew that his conference “outside E3 2022” was going to be special. Well…as special as any they’ve done so far. But it was even more so. Could it be that seeing the versatile SUDA 51 in a mech was the trigger for the insanity of the spectacle we saw? Well maybe. Even if the few announcements that we have been able to witness have not been outdone. And right now we tell you in the following lines.
Cult of the Lamb – August 11 – Xbox, Playstation, Switch and PC
While the cute and sweet aesthetic of these adorable little animals may make us fall in love at first sight, don’t be fooled by their intentions. Picking up the torch from contemporary classics like The Binding of Isaac, this tale of worship, satanic rites and sacrifice promises to be convoluted and difficult. Arm yourself with courage and spread the word of your God to create the sect of your dreams!
Wrath Foot – 2023 – PC
This proposal so frenetic at the moment is only announced on PC, although we do not lose hope of seeing it on our console in the future. With a very frantic pace, you will have to kick into the sites to defeat everything that moves. With a super colorful and “cartoon” design, Anger Foot is perhaps the best stress reliever we will have next year. Punch your enemies until the soles of your shoes melt!
The Plucky Squire – 2023 – Xbox Series, PS5, Switch and PC
For a server who saw the gala live, this proposal was undoubtedly the best. This title combines 2D levels with a three-dimensional world in a masterful way. Plus, as seen in the trailer, The Plucky Squire promises a wide variety of situations. We saw platforms, boxing, exploration of a city in 2D, shots in spaceships… One of the hits that Devolver Digital released in its conference, and which we will follow very closely on the web.
Card Shark – June 2 – PC and Switch
As who does not want the thing, Devolver Digital has “slipped” the trailer for this curious game that is already on sale. Its mechanics consist in “cheating” the games of poker in which we will play. For this, not only will we have to hide an ace up our sleeve, but we will be able to point the finger at the cards and use a thousand and one tricks to emerge victorious from each game. Of course, it’s better not to get caught…
Skate Story – 2023 – Platforms not specified
To end the conference, nothing better than a bit of grinding through the underworld. Skate Story puts us in the shoes of a demon made of glass and pain. Thanks to our scooter, we will go through the scenarios fulfilling the assigned objectives and thus, going up the different layers that make up this hostile and sad territory. We will have more than 70 different figures to do, but be careful not to fall, because because of your “crystalline” state, you will do more than sprain your ankle…
