These types of decisions are made to make the game run in the best possible conditions. Therefore, it is better to let the developer work as long as they want so that we can enjoy the game when it arrives in due time.
However, it is recommended to be attentive to all the updates that are made to its creation process, to see if it is progressing correctly.
