New weapons and items

Final updates on boss quality of life and more
We’re improving the overall quality of life of how you access final boss fights.
Endgame boss
It is no longer necessary to restart the dungeon to face the same boss again. Killing them causes the summoning altar to reappear and allows you to use more resources to replay them.
Summoning Varshan now only requires Evil Hearts. Handshakes, blackened femurs, and bubbling heads have been removed from the game.
Final bosses now drop extra gold instead of rare items.
ice beast
The Beast in the Ice boss fight now functions like a standard dungeon; It is no longer necessary to create a seal to enter combat.
- Any Seals of the Beast in the Ice remaining from previous Seasonal or Eternal Realm characters can be used to summon the Beast in the Ice instead of using summon materials.
The boss fight is now much closer to the entrance, so it will no longer be necessary to progress through the dungeon before the fight.
Removed Sigil Dust as a summon material cost.
Infernal tide and whispers
We have significantly reduced the time it takes to earn Whisper rewards. We’ve made it so that there are always enough Whispers to earn 10 Dirt perks during a given Hellwalk, so they should now take a lot less time to complete. Additionally, the icons have been updated to be consistent with other whispers.
Your threat increase now scales consistently with the health of monsters killed.
We’re adjusting Dire Heart’s drop rates because they were dropping too often to seem useful.
- The chance of obtaining one from a Tormenting Gift starts at 13% and increases with each failure. When you obtain an Evil Heart, the chance returns to 10%.
- Hellborne and the Helltide Assassin starts with a 1% chance of getting a heart, and also increases each time you don’t get one. It is now reset to 2%.
The Cull Demons Whisper Bounty now includes the Fallen, Cull Fallen Whisper Bounty now replaced by Cull Cultists.
Loot Rewards
Resplendent Spark rewards for defeating Tormented Bosses can now be obtained separately in Hard and Non-Hard modes.
Resplendent Sparks and Scattered Prisms will no longer be collected automatically. Additionally, they can now be found in the lost item pool if they are forgotten when dropped.
Unique and Mythic items can now be obtained through Whispering Caches, Curiosity Vendor, and Gifts.
