SEASON 4: REBORN LOOT
Item System Update
The way you interact with items has been significantly changed to improve the current system. For this reason, the number of base affixes has been reduced, which will now also be simpler. The idea is to make it easier for players to examine items and decide what is useful to them, then later upgrade and customize items to fit a specific build.
Temperate
This is a new system that allows players to customize the gear they find. If you want to access the temper, you will need to go to the blacksmith and select the temper recipe. A random affix from the recipe will then be linked to the item in question. Players will be able to find recipes in virtually all Sanctuary content.
Power Codex
The codex has been completely updated based on feedback received from the community. Now all Legendaries will be added to the Power Codex so players can consistently imprint the best version of said Legendary on their team. Additionally, players will no longer need to carry Trait Crystals in their inventory.
Higher affixes
There will be a new type of rare affixes, Greater Affixes, which will appear as ancestral loot at world level 4. Greater Affixes will give higher values than their normal versions.
Maximization
Once a player has applied all the desired affixes to an item, they can upgrade those affixes to higher values. Once you have completed your build and have the best items, test yourself in the pit.
Water pit
Players who have reached their max build can test themselves in this new endgame system and unlock rare crafting materials to continue maxing out their gear.
Infernal tides
The Infernal Tides have gone all out this season and therefore include several new activities. Now, players will encounter more cultists trying to summon demons and prophets of doom created from the wretches caught in the chaos. Those who manage to survive long enough in the Infernal Tides update will face the infernates.
Cursed rituals
These are interrupted cultist rituals that players can activate to draw demons and monsters into fierce combat. Survive this demonic assault and you will receive a visit from Bloody Ladya new Hell Tide mini-boss which represents the final challenge of this experience.
Iron Wolves
The Iron Wolves have declared war on Hell and want you to bring them the head of the Bloody Lady. Join them and progress through Call of Wolves activities to accumulate honor. This honor is used to unlock rewards for getting the most out of the Season Log.
