The Loot Reborn season is now live in Diablo IV, bringing the biggest update yet, with significant improvements to the item organization system and new experiences for Infernal Tide. Additionally, you can ally yourself with the Iron Wolves to fight the demons of Hell.

In Diablo IV, you can create a new seasonal character or you are looking for ways to strengthen your eternal character, season 4 has something for you. With new ways to customize and interact with items, as well as new activities to explore in the late game, you’ll be able to improve and optimize a build that suits your playstyle.

The way players interact with items has changed dramatically since then improve the object organization system existing. Base affixes have been reduced and will become simpler in the future. The goal is to make it easier for players to analyze objects.

A new system that allows players to customize the gear they find through tempering. This will cause a random affix of this formula to arrive in the team. From now on, all legendary items will be added to the Codex of Power so players can stamp the best version of that legendary item on their gear. Players will no longer need to carry Aspect Crystals in their inventory.

More news brought by season 4:

  • Maximization: Once you have an item with all the affixes you want, you can begin this process to upgrade said affixes to even higher values. When you feel like your build is complete and you have the best items, you can test yourself in the Pit.
  • Water pit: Players who have optimized their build will be able to use this new advanced gameplay system and unlock rare crafting materials to further optimize their equipment.
  • Infernal tides: This season, Hell Tides will include several new activities and will become more intense. Players will now encounter more demon summoning cultists and Dombraringers created from those unlucky enough to be caught in the tide. Those who manage to survive long enough in these renewed Infernal Tides will have to face the Infernals, former heroes of Sanctuary who have allied themselves with the demons of Hell.
  • Cursed rituals: These are failed cultist rituals that players can activate to attract demons and monsters against whom they will fight mercilessly. Survive the onslaught of demons and you will face the Bloody Lady.
  • Iron Wolves: The Iron Wolves have taken up arms against Hell and are attacking the head of the Bloody Lady. Join them and progress through the seasonal activity “Call of the Wolves” to earn Honor. Honor will unlock rewards that will improve your seasonal journey in Diablo IV.
