The future of EA Play Live’s FPS Spotlight series kicks off today July 8th with DICE and Respawn.
Today Electronic Arts starts on its way to EA Play Live with the spotlight “The Future of FPS”. Among others, the founder of Respawn Entertainment, Vince Zampella, and the General Manager of DICE, Oskar Gabrielson, will be there.
It’s the first entry in EA’s new Spotlight series, which will give fans the opportunity to get insights from the developers themselves and will also provide some surprises.

Zampella and Gabrielson will speak with the general manager of Ripple Effect Studios, Christian Grass, the game director of Apex Legends, Chad Grenier and Stella Chung from IGN about the latest news on Battlefield 2042 and Apex Legends – and what the fans of both are Games expected at EA Play Live on July 22nd.
On June 9, DICE unveiled Battlefield 2042 with an action-packed reveal trailer – and with the next generation of the fan-favorite Conquest and Breakthrough modes, it gave a first glimpse of the full extent of the war. On July 22nd, Ripple Effect Studios is introducing the next gaming experience at EA Play Live that will make long-time Battlefield gamers feel right at home.
Apex Legends recently celebrated its second birthday and exceeded 100 million+ players worldwide. Those who tune in tomorrow will learn more about what Respawn learned from the game’s early success, how arenas expand Apex Legends beyond Battle Royale, and what the next big update will bring.
