The real-time strategy game series Age of Empires is 25 years old. Xbox Game Studio Worlds Edge is celebrating the anniversary with a live stream, which you can watch here from 7:00 p.m.
An Xbox version of Age of Empires II Definitive Edition could also be announced during the broadcast. As reported earlier today, the game received a PEGI rating for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
To update: Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition will be released for Xbox on January 31, 2023, Age of Empires IV will come to consoles later in the year. Both games will be released Day 1 in Xbox Game Pass and will support controller controls and optional mouse & keyboard.
