The long silence surrounding Dragon Quest 12: The Flame of Fate is followed by an apology from the co-creator.
Have you ever wondered why there has been so much silence about Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate? Dragon Quest co-creator, director and author Yuji Horii recently apologized for this silence.
Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate was announced back in 2021. Since then, updates have been rather sparse. Horii is also aware of this. In his post on X/Twitter, he announced that the team is continuing to work on the RGP and that he hopes that it will do justice to co-creator and composer Koichi Sugiyama, who died in 2021, as well as character designer and art director Akira Toriyama, who died earlier this year.
Elsewhere, Horii says he can’t say much about Dragon Quest 12, even though he’s just come from a meeting. So the wait for news and details about Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate continues. How long remains to be seen.
