The new edition of the MotoGP series is finally there for Xbox consoles. MotoGP 25. This year the game offers many innovations in both gameplay and technology. One of them is the Race Off modes, in which players can immerse themselves even deeper into the life of a real driver by training with three unique bicycles.

Let us train

Over the years we have spoken to many drivers from all categories, and they all told us how important it is to train to constantly improve their skills to work on the best route on the best route. In the previous chapters of the franchise we were able to add many functions that helped the players to feel closer and closer to true sport, but the training part was still missing. We are very pleased that we were able to include it in Chapter 2025. It was a very difficult challenge, but our talented team did an incredible job.

Our goal was not only to contain the last piece of the driver's life in a gamified form, but also to give the player a more relaxed moment in their playing time in order to have fun in another environment that stays away as the tension of the official MotoGP races. We have inspired ourselves from real life to create both the bicycles and the environments. As you may know, drivers cannot use their official bicycles for tying, so use different types of two -wheelers that enable them to improve their driving skills. We also wanted to convey the feeling of camaraderie that they can see when drivers come together from all categories to train.

As for the attitude, we wanted to bring MotoGP fans to the heart of sport in Europe. Our team has created four original tracks, both asphalt and off -road, in two environments that capture the ideal properties of the perfect training area. The players find a warmer place in the hills of the Maremma in Tuscany and a colder in the French Alps. They will be like large themed parks for drivers to meet, chat and have fun from the classic racing weekends.

Three new bicycles, three new riding styles

The three bicycles, Motard, Flat Track and Minibikes available in Race Off modes, differ greatly in both sizes and handling. We had to examine them to reproduce them exactly, but what is more important, we had to differentiate the physics systems in order to bring the feeling of driving back with these bicycles, and at the same time keep fun and gameplay -oriented approach, just like we do with the classic MotoGP. For the first time since the introduction of Unreal Engine, the franchise in off -road goes, so that we also had to work on the surfaces to reproduce the unique tracks on which flat traces run. It is a discipline based on drifts and low traction due to the presence of sand on the surfaces. We have created a physics system that simulates this lack of grip so that you have to constantly control the back of your bike to compensate for drifts and speed. In the flat track you will convey a skill that you can use for any other bicycle type available for any other way of bicycle. This was the most challenging bike. We had to reproduce physics and deal with a bicycle that is very difficult to control and at the same time keep the game entertaining and accessible.

Minibikes are the special bike we have ever had. They are very small and less powerful than any other bike, but they are incredibly agile. They run on the same asphalt tracks as Motard, but the handling is very different. In view of your lack of power, you have to find the ideal trajectory and hit the tip perfectly.

After all, the Motard uses the same chassis as the flat lane, but runs on smaller asphalt circuits such as karting tracks. It is still a very agile bike, but it is also much more powerful than a minibike. To control it, you have to learn to compensate for the brakes and the gas, especially if you come from the corners. The engine brake is also very powerful, so it is an additional element that needs to be taken into account when playing.

Connect your skills like a real professional in career mode

The Race Off modes are accessible both online and offline via a special section in the main menu, but they are a fundamental part of the renewed career mode. As already mentioned, we wanted to involve these disciplines to facilitate the tension between racing weekends, and that is where other drivers are invited to take part in these training sessions. With acceptance, you can also increase your driver's physical performance, a premiere for the franchise. By improving your form, you can approach certain racing situations more easily, e.g. B. handling the bike during the curves. You will receive three different invitations every time, one for each bike. You can choose which you want to accept to try everything out or to specialize in a single discipline. Training invitations are also associated with the other career systems such as relationships. In MotoGP 25 everything is well connected and you will see every consequence both on and outside the route. We really wanted to add these new mechanics to the game in order to bring them closer to the life of a real driver than ever before, to see that they all run on these new bicycles to see that they all drive on these new bikes!
