Video game industry events are a great time to see new projects from developers and future plans they have, unfortunately we won’t be seeing that from EA this year because as the developer confirmed to IGN portalEA Play Live will not take place in June as usual.
In declaraciones al ya citado sitio, uno de los representantes de EA indicated that los planes de la empresa no son reunir todas las novedades en un solo día como lo venían haciendo sino que cada proyecto contará con su anuncio singular en el momento precise que sea conveniente all year long.
Sale EA Play Live, ¿Microsoft entered?
EA Play Live started in 2016 when the brand held an alternative event to the traditional E3, but the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic forced the developers to change the presentation to be in a virtual or face-to-face environment but without an audience, something that could happen somehow this year.
In any case, while some events are cancelled, others are springing up and that’s how there is a strong rumor that Microsoft will have its own E3 in June. We’ll see if other companies follow this trend even if it’s in digital format.
