DOOM Eternal: Xbox Series X / S Update Coming June 29

Among the multitude of announcements we have had in the Xbox and Bethesda game showcase a very special waited hidden. It was not a new and surprising game, but it was a game very popular with all lovers of the shooters. Eternal DOOM, the shooter of Identification software who has been with us for a while, will finally have update for new generation consoles

The date chosen will be June 29. From this day forward, lucky owners of an Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X console will be able to enjoy Eternal DOOM like they’ve never done before. The update offers support for 4K / 60 FPS, 120 FPS and included laser tracing (in the case of the Xbox Series X).

Identification software, in an official message, broke down the different modes available. These fashions have been baptized Performance Mode

, Balanced mode Yes Modo ray tracing. The developer clarified that all modes use dynamic resolution scale and that laser tracing it will not be available in performance or balance modes. So the console Xbox x series will be able to reproduce Eternal DOOM at 1800p / 120 FPS, 2160p at 60 FPS and 1800p at 60 FPS with laser tracing. For its part, the Xbox Series S gets 1080p at 120 FPS and 1440p at 60 FPS without ray tracing support, at least for now.

Obviously, let’s not forget that the Performance Mode requires a 120 Hz compatible screen. Balanced mode requires a 4K compatible display.
