Bioware:

When we talk about Dragon Age, we are talking about a franchise that is well established and loved by players. At some point I have to go back to Inquisition, but what I played felt spectacular and a lot of fun. The same didn’t happen with Mass Effect Andromeda, who is loved and hated in equal measure and therefore Bioware feels the need to win back fans.

With the new games of the two franchises in the oven, it is normal for managers to be nervous, satisfying fans with its heritage will not be an easy task. So with Dragon Age, we at least know that they want to go back to the roots of the early games.

Zero doubt: Dragon Age 4 will be solo

These days, the studio has shared a new post, and once again they’ve pointed out that the game will focus on one player. No one fully understands the reason for this constant nuance, and it means there will be sort of a multiplayer component outside of the campaign.

Gary McKay, current studio director, said that decisions will be very important in this new tranche. And beyond, a little more to say.

We continue to work hard on the next versions of Dragon Age and Mass Effect. I see incredible work from both teams. There is a veteran group of talented developers working on the sequel, and the studio is focused on a single player experience based on choices that matter.

A vague message, but which at least serves to calm the minds of those who doubt the studio’s concentration on the game.
