DreamHack Dallas is one of the most traditional gaming festivals in North America and brings together everything related to video games under one roof.
From the world-famous LAN party to podium contributions and a trade fair to art, cosplay, meet-and-greets with creators and much more, guests are offered a wide range of offers here that promise an unforgettable experience.
The festival will also host 13 esports competitions – including legendary titles such as Overwatch 2 and StarCraft II, with prize money totaling over USD 1 million.
For the first time, several DreamHack Dallas esports events will offer participants the chance to qualify for the world’s first Esports World Cup, taking place this summer.
With new pathways to $60 million in prize money and an international audience in Riyadh, DreamHack offers more opportunities than ever for undiscovered talent to earn a place on the world stage.
“Esports has been an integral part of DreamHack Dallas since the festival’s inception, and we are excited to once again invite tens of thousands of fans to celebrate their favorite games this summer,” said Shahin Zarrabi, Vice President, Festivals, ESL FACEIT Group. “Whether it’s the 100th IEM event, the OWCS’s first-ever live event, or the Esports World Cup qualifying rounds, DreamHack celebrates gamers of all kinds, from world-class pros to the next up-and-coming talent.”
Tickets for DreamHack Dallas are available from $35 for one day to $99 for all three days.
At the first major tournament held locally Overwatch Champions Series Blizzard Entertainment and EFG have invited eight top teams from the competition region to a three-day showcase of their talent, at the end of which there will be a prize pool boosted by crowdfunding.
Fans can follow the action live on site or from home with the official broadcast or on one of the partner streams as the teams fight for an international OWCS title and qualification for the Esports World Cup.
