Dying Light 2: Stay Human kicks off its Christmas event with a new update

Following the Fall and Winter updates, the highly anticipated Winter Tales 2023 arrives in Dying Light 2 Stay Human, immersing players in a festive atmosphere filled with unique challenges and special events. This event offers players an exciting opportunity to take on new themed challenges, such as rescuing the stolen gifts from Naughty Infected and facing the mysterious Uncle Snow. Additionally, to promote community unity, collective objectives have been introduced

offering players an exclusive reward, the Gingerbread Infected charm, for completing global objectives.

This update gives players a wide range of options to tackle night and day challenges. From polearms offering strategic range to night weapons with special powers at night, each player will be able to choose their ideal arsenal. Additionally, the inclusion of throwing weapons, such as the PK Tool explosive knife and shurikens, diversifies combat tactics. On the other hand, the Naughty Infected feature variants with different abilities, from the Frozen Biter to the Incinerator Biter, challenging players’ creativity and strategy in each encounter.

Technical changes and corrections

Techland has been working hard to improve various aspects of the game. From stability and performance improvements to specific co-op and UI fixes, The update aims to provide a more robust and enjoyable experience

for all players. Adjustments include introducing Hellraid assets to dev tools and implementing cross-gen saves for PS5 users, ensuring a seamless transition between consoles. Additionally, specific issues ranging from inadequate lighting to animation adjustments have been fixed, providing a more immersive and bug-free gaming environment.
