Sengoku Dynasty will leave Early Access on Steam on November 7th, while it will be released on consoles in 2025.
The development studio Superkami and publisher Toplitz Productions announce that Sengoku Dynasty will leave the early access phase on November 7, 2024 and move to version 1.0 on Steam with a major update.
After recently announcing that the mix of open-world settlement building, life simulation and survival will also be available on consoles in 2025, Sengoku Dynasty on PC is reaching the next big milestone with the transition to version 1.0.
During the Early Access phase, the Superkami Sengoku Dynasty team has continuously improved and expanded the content with each of the numerous significant updates. Taking valuable community feedback into account, new features have been added, game depth increased and the overall gaming experience improved.
Over the last 14 months, the processes at the production facilities have been optimized, character progression has been expanded and improved, and a combat system has been integrated that was inspired by Souls games with its tactical blocking, counterattacking and evasion options. In addition, for example, a satisfaction system, the dynasty warehouse, improvements to the user interface and infrastructure optimizations were introduced.
The so-called “Daimyō System” adds a strategic component to Sengoku Dynasty by allowing you to liberate regions controlled by enemy factions. If you drive away the enemies and restore important infrastructure, you can gain access to rare raw materials or unique technologies and thus give your dynasty important advantages.
This system immerses you even more deeply in the ubiquitous territorial battles associated with the era’s feudal Japan. Despite the expanded possibilities that combat and conquest open up, Sengoku Dynasty remains true to its line of adapting to your preferred play style: depending on your preferences, for example, you can concentrate completely on the story and settlement building.
Matthias Wunsch, CEO Toplitz Productions comments: “With Sengoku Dynasty, the Superkami team has placed great importance on the community’s feedback since the start of Early Access and created a unique immersive gaming experience. A world that mixes history with adventure and where you can put your own individual stamp on 16th century Japan in a way that is rarely possible in the genre, with the aim of leaving a legacy that will stand the test of time.”
Sengoku Dynasty offers a unique, historical insight into Japanese social structures, craftsmanship and economics, topped off with a fascinating mix of survival, exploration and craftsmanship. Both soloists and fans of cooperative gaming experiences will get their money’s worth when they face the challenges of feudal Japan with up to three friends.
